Fiscal Year 2010 - Fee Changes

We hope to get information out to everybody through whatever means we can get.

For starters, let's try blogging....new to me, so please excuse my learning experience mishaps in advance.

Fees - some new ones, some remain the same, some have become billable.

Corner Records are now $15 (CR's will soon be available on our website sccgov.org/sccsurveyor)

Certificate of Corrections are now $15 for indexing in addition to the $15 recording fee.

Record of Surveys*, same $600 for the first sheet, $275 each sheet there after.

Tract Map Number and Parcel Map number, $150

Parcel Map, $1500*

Final Map (Tract Map)*, $1900*

Easement Review (i.e. SDE, R/W dedications) $400*

Easement Review in conjunction with Land Development project, $800*

Monument Bond Release fee, $250*

Easement Abandonment fee, $1200*

Street Name Change, $100

City Annexation fee, $2000*

* once this amount is exhausted, additional cost will be billable at an hourly rate.

BLM plats

We will be submitting the USPLSS plats to BLM for posting on their website sometime this fall.
Next we hope to have the Field Notes also available as PDF files.
Yes, I know this all takes time and in addition to being short staffed, yet we are trying to spend a little time here and there so we can make this eventually available to the public via the internet.

BTW - the government patents are at the Santa Clara County Archives facility and are available to the public there.
